Dr. David Walcott, Medical Doctor (Md. Ph.D. Msc.) is an Entrepreneur with over 5-years of experience as a Founder, Operator, and Consultant to several businesses in the Caribbean. His academic profile includes an MSc & Doctorate of Philosophy at Oxford (Rhodes Scholarship) with research on immunotherapeutics, a mini-MBA at INSEAD, and healthcare business courses at Harvard Business School.
Professionally, Dr. Walcott is committed to attracting world-class healthcare resources into emerging markets through Novamed, a healthcare holdings & consulting firm that actions best-practices and global insights through its portfolio companies spanning healthcare services, strategy consulting in healthcare, medical education & conferences. His work in healthcare has been recognized by Forbes, World Economic Forum, the United Nations, and the IMF and his firm led the largest private donation of PPE into the Caribbean and extensive cost savings in Covid-19 testing through a pool-testing strategy. He is also Founding Partner of The Visionaries’ Summit & My Destination Experience, knowledge & opportunity exchange platform.
He is the outgoing Co-Chair of the World Economic Forum Covid-19 Steering Committee, a member of the World Economic Forum’s Global Future Council, and a WEF Young Global Leader.
