We explored the Jamaican’s aversion to change and how it often reflects in our perceptions of beloved Jamaican personalities, including actors, comedians, and social media influencers. We had the pleasure of hearing from Slashe, formerly known as Iceman, who is a talented Singer/Songwriter and Actor, Michael ‘String Bean’ Nicholson. They shared their thoughts and personal experiences regarding this aspect of Jamaican culture.
