Kitties of Kingston is a volunteer animal rescue effort made by Brittany Johnson, a business owner, entrepreneur, and lifelong animal lover. From a young age, Brittany has felt a deep compassion for animals. She would bring injured birds and hungry kittens’ home from school to feed, nurse back to health, and release or rehome them. This initiative was created with the goal of raising funds for food and veterinary care for animals that are far too often neglected, abused, found in horrible conditions, or are simply unable to fend for themselves.
Brittany Johnson has a journey as a dynamic entrepreneur and proud owner of the renowned Jamaican swimwear brand, “Miakalani Swim,” seamlessly intertwines with her commitment to rescuing animals—a cause she has championed since childhood. This showcases her enduring dedication to both the world of fashion and the well-being of our four-legged companions, embodying compassion and making a positive impact in the lives of both fashion enthusiasts and furry friends.
