Olivia Smikle is the reigning Mrs. Universe Jamaica, a native of Manchester who formed the Olivia Smikle Foundation whose mission is to use the powerful tool of education to break the cycle of poverty and close the social inequality gap. Smikle has not always been a ‘pageant girl’ but rather a motivated individual who remained committed to accomplishing her goals and getting her dream job in law enforcement. This allowed her to help women faced with challegenges including domestic abuse, human trafficking and violence. She stopped by Sunrise to share more.
