Mental Health is a Universal Human Right

Mental health is a vital aspect of overall well-being. It refers to the state of our emotional, psychological, and social well-being. Good mental health helps us to cope with the daily demands of life, build healthy relationships with others, and enjoy life to the fullest. It is important to pay attention to our mental health and take appropriate measures to maintain it. This can include seeking professional help if needed, engaging in physical activity, practising relaxation techniques, and eating a healthy diet. World Mental Health Day is observed on October 10th, and this year’s theme, ‘Mental Health is a Universal Human Right,’ sets the stage for Mental Health Week, taking place from October 8–14. Clinical Psychologist, Georgia Rose, joined us to share insights about this event.
