Microsoft Project Blue Mountain Hackathon 1st Place Winners

Microsoft’s vision to empower every person and every organization on the planet to achieve more, motivated a small group of Jamaicans at Microsoft in January 2022 to create an initiative called “Project Blue Mountain” (PBM), named after Jamaica’s highest mountain peak, the Blue Mountains. The group’s vision is to help Jamaica and the Caribbean region achieve more by accelerating its digital and AI transformation, and for Jamaica to be recognized as an information technology hub with the ultimate goal of establishing a Microsoft Development Center in Kingston, Jamaica.
