Today (March 7) is Peace Day and it is being celebrated under the theme “Be the Peace”. The Violence Prevention Alliance (VPA), in collaboration with its partners, is having a series of activities in celebration of the day. The day’s activities will include a small private reception, featuring a drumming circle which will be supported by professional musicians who have volunteered to lend their time and expertise to the initiative. Chair of the Violence Prevention Alliance, Professor Elizabeth Ward and Senior Technical Project Officer, Damion Hylton share more about the Peace Day activities on Sunrise.
