‘Choices’ is a book that tells a fictional story that unfolds in the 1990s in a Jamaica setting and progresses to America as the main character migrates with his mother after the death of his father. The storyline follows a young Jamaican male who realizes God’s presence in his life while he is lying in a coma. “C” the main character, having chosen to become a gangster in America, has been caught up in the lifestyle and was set up by his former boss. When the boss attempts to silence C, he tries to finish the job of killing him before C awakes from his coma and turns an informant.
Love, loyalty, and friendship collide in this dramatic read which is bound to captivate its audience. The story also speaks to some of the core issues which have contributed to the prevalence of crime in Jamaica and provides insight into how we can positively change our country’s future by making the right choices today.
