The National Health Fund (NHF) is celebrating its 20th anniversary, under the theme ‘Reigniting the Health Financing Agenda’. In commemoration of their 20th year of service to healthcare in Jamaica, the NHF will be undertaking several activities including a health and fitness competition and offering 20,000 free blood pressure tests for World Hypertension Day on May 17. The theme for this year’s commemoration is ‘Measure Your Blood Pressure Accurately, Control It, Live Longer.’ Director of Non-Communicable Diseases and Injuries Prevention, at the Ministry of Health and Wellness, Dr Tamu Davidson and Director of Health Promotion, PR & Customer Care, NHF, Shermaine Robothom share more on Sunrise.
