Reggae legend Peter Tosh was posthumously bestowed with a national honour in South Africa on April 28. He was honoured with the Order of the Companion of Oliver Reginald Tambo, which is equivalent to Jamaica’s Order of Merit. The award was presented to him for his efforts in fighting against the apartheid regime, and it is considered a significant recognition of his contribution to the cause. Niambe McIntosh, Peter Tosh’s daughter, joined us on Sunrise to discuss the significance of this award for her family.
