Shantrese Brown is a final-year student at the University of Technology. She recently hosted the ‘Quasheba Photography Exhibition’, which is a celebration of the important role that Jamaican higgler women play in their communities, economies, and way of life. The exhibition featured powerful images of higgler women whose spirit, strength and tenacity in their unique stories are experienced through photography.
