Despite the violent and oversexualized musical content coming out of Jamaica, Rasta Progrez has never averted from his positive music. He considers his music to be not just entertainment but spiritual food for the soul.
Rasta Progrez wants his fans and people, in general, to understand that Rasta and Christian are not musically exclusive and despite his name, he is also a Christian. “I am a Christian,” Progrez laments. “I am a Rasta from birth, I am a real Rasta man and that’s not going to change. Being a Rasta is not about the hair on my head because even if I cut it off, I am still a Rasta. It never changes, Rasta evolves,” he stated.
