Governor General Patrick Allen will recognize the Rebbe’s influence in bringing education and morality to the forefront of public discourse on the Rebbe’s 121st birthday. The day will be a time to focus on education after the pandemic took a tremendous toll on education, with in-person schooling widely curtailed for months. With this, the ‘Education Day’ proclamation will highlight the emphasis that must be placed on education for each of Jamaica’s young people. Rabbi Yaakov Raskin, Director of Chabad Jamaica stopped by Sunrise to share more about the importance.
