Recognizing The Remarkable Work of Community Leaders

The 32nd staging of the Governor-General’s Achievement Awards took place on June 29, where Governor-General Sir Patrick Allen recognized the remarkable work of several awardees, who have emerged as burgeoning leaders despite facing various obstacles. The 2nd VP of Jamaica Union of Tertiary Students, Deshawn Cooke and Community Leader, Lynworth Brown were honoured and joined us to share their story.
