Razor B (Roger O’Neil Cassup) – Jamaican born and Canadian bred, Razor B is the complete package; dancehall DJ, song writer, producer, entrepreneur and entertainer.
Versatile in his ability to create songs that resonate with both the young and old, Razor B’s silky smooth style and rough edges reach wide and deep. With years of experience, Razor has built a reputation as an outstanding live performer and creator of music that moves people, earning the title as the ‘Girl’s DJ’.
Razor B has risen to dancehall stardom and solidified his place in the dancehall fraternity with a number of Top 10 Reggae Dancehall hits under his belt, including; Hot Up, Up in Deh, Bruk Back, Happy Moment, We Nah Lef, Don’t Stop It, Live My Life and more.
Razor exploded on the dancehall scene in 2015, after a decade of indie projects. In 2016, he earned himself 3 YVA nominations and won Summer Song of the Year for ‘Hot Up’, , in 2017 he brought home the CUT Hip Hop Award for Reggae Single of the Year for his hit song Happy Moment and the Reggae Xclusive Trailblazer Award for his achievements in Dancehall music with the song ‘We Nah Lef’ in July 2017.
In September 2017 Razor B won the Caribbean Music and Entertainment Award for International Reggae Artist. He is the first Canadian Dancehall Artist to tour Europe twice without a full length album under his belt. In 2018, he hit the stage in London England at the O2 Arena opening for dancehall superstars Ding Dong and Spice.
For 2022 Razor B is reemerging with new material and an EP called Something For Everyone that should be released in March 2022. His first single from the project, Money Bag is doing well since its February 2022 release. Razor B also starts his Money Bag tour in March 2022 to promote his new material and EP.
