The two-hour version of the documentary “Retracing the Footsteps of His Imperial Majesty: 10 Days with an Ethiopian Prince” will premiere this Friday, April 21, from 6 pm – 8:30 pm, at the University of the West Indies (UWI) campus. The documentary provides a Rastafari insider’s look at the historic 2016 visit of H.I.H. Prince Ermias Sahle -Selassie on the occasion of the 50th Anniversary of the 1966 State visit to Jamaica of his grandfather, Emperor Haile Selassie I. The documentary details Prince Ermias’ and his wife Princess Saba’s various activities and engagements as they travel throughout Jamaica. Senior Lecturer of Sociology, Psychology and Social Work at UWI, Dr Michael Barnett, joined us on Sunrise to share more about the documentary.
