Domestic abuse, often called “domestic violence” or “intimate partner violence,” is a pattern of behaviour employed in any kind of relationship to acquire or keep control over one’s partner. Both males and females can be victims of domestic abuse. Deputy Superintendent of Police Jacqueline Dillon joined us for our weekly Security Alert. She addressed the issue of domestic violence and how to handle these situations when they arise.
