Shane Miller attended the Titchfield High School in Portland Jamaica at the age of 10 and started teaching professionally at age 19. During his tenure as a teacher he was awarded Excellent Teacher of the year two years in a row 2015 & 2016.
Being the Charter President of the Optimist Club of West Portland and a Past Lieutenant Governor for the Optimist International Caribbean District is a testament of his passion to serve. He has a love for basketball which manifested in him being a team member and manager of the Buff Bay Hawks basketball team for over a decade.
Shane is now an entrepreneur and publisher author, speaking to audiences worldwide. He has found pleasure sharing his experience, background of growth and belief with his viewing audience on social media. Coaching the winner of the Portland SDC Junior Speech Competition 2019 is regarded as one of the accomplishments that he holds dear to his heart.
Always seeking opportunities to grow, he is the Immediate Past Vice President of Membership for the President’s Distinguished, Brandon Toastmasters Club located in Florida.
His repertoire of speeches includes: devotions, graduations, award ceremonies, project launches and training seminars.
