Romain Lewis is a 31year old Publishing Agent at Kingston Bookshop. His art journey started in 2019 when he thought of drawing on receipts. He would post them online and after some time people expressed interest in purchasing them.
From there he transitioned to ink on paper drawings, then to currently producing digital art and some acrylic paintings. Lewis’ style is mainly conceptual, he considers himself to be a storyteller who likes to experiment with a variety of techniques when shaping pieces.
His intention is to grow his local and international audience. I’ve shipped pieces island wide as well as to 5 counties outside of Jamaica. Lewis has plans to participate in a few more exhibitions, as well as test the waters with Non-Fungible Tokens (NFTs).
