Tambufest “Preserving Our Rich Diverse Cultural Heritage”

The 4th iteration of TambuFest is set to be held at Covers Bar & Grill in Portland, Jamaica on Saturday, July 29, 2023, from 3:00 pm until midnight. The drumming event, themed “Preserving our Rich Diverse Cultural Heritage”, is presented jointly by the St. Thomas Kumina Collective, the New York-based Ancient Vibrations and, The Center for Experimental Ethnography at the University of Pennsylvania. Leader Of St Thomas Kumina Collective & Co-Directors Of Tambufest Nicholas ‘Rocky’ Allen stopped by to tell us all about the event.
