The Healthcare Disparities and Digital Health (HDDH) Working Group under the International Society of Telemedicine and eHealth (ISFTEH) is gearing up to host the “Telehealth: Caribbean Connected” Conference. Shedding light on this significant event are Dr. Michele Griffith, the President of ISFTEH, and Dr. David Walcott, the Managing Partner of NovaMed Inc. and Catalyst Health Innovation Forum.
Having existed for over 26 years, the International Society for Telemedicine is a global organization encompassing more than 110 countries. Its primary objective is to enhance healthcare access across communities by facilitating the dissemination of information and providing access to experts in the realm of telemedicine and health. Telemedicine involves receiving healthcare remotely, where a patient can be at home while a doctor provides necessary care over the phone. Particularly during the pandemic, telemedicine has played a pivotal role in providing care to patients worldwide.
The Telehealth Conference, slated from August 17, 2023, to August 20, 2023, will take place at the Iberostar Rose Hall Beach Resort in Montego Bay, Jamaica. A multitude of healthcare experts will be present to engage with attendees of the conference. Those interested can register for a fee of $100 USD. See Interview Below:
