The 11th Dis Poem Wordz & Agro Festival

Award Winning Dub Poet, Event Producer and Farmer Ras Takura is advocating seed exchanges to protect authentic Jamaican flavours by railing against genetically modified food. To this end, the Poet will be hosting the Dis Poem Wordz & Agro Festival on Sunday, April 30th at the College of Agriculture, Science and Education in Portland. The event will feature poets such as Dr Amina Blackwood, Mutabaruka, Warrior King, and DYCR among others. Ras Takura joined us on Sunrise to share more about the event. Watch the interview below.
