Daynia Pinnock Lawrence is a radiation chemist at the Molecular Imaging Institute where she manufactures and tests radioactive pharmaceuticals used to detect cancer. She is not only a chemist but also a brilliant storyteller. Her book ‘ The Chemistry Crew & The Missing River ’ is a fun and adventurous one that takes the reader on a journey.
Lawrence tries to balance her career as a chemist with her roles as a mother of two, and wife along with many other hats. She also serves as a mentor for high school students through the Minds of Jamaica Initiative.
