The Republic of Sierra Leone has officially opened its first Honorary Consulate in Jamaica. To celebrate this partnership, a week of commemorative activities is being observed from February 6 to 11. The week’s activities is being hosted by Professor Rosalea Hamilton, who was recently appointed by the President of Sierra Leone, His Excellency Retired General Brigadier, Julius Maada Bio, to serve as the first Honorary Consul for the Republic of Sierra Leone in Jamaica.
