Mico Teachers College is having its annual Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM) Conference from July 5-7. They are advocating for Kingston to be a STEM city and positing that using science, technology, engineering and math is the way to go to solve most of our nation’s problems. The aim of the conference is to promote a deep collaboration with STEM practitioners locally and internationally, development experts, policymakers, educators and young people to work together to transform Jamaica through STEM Education.President of Mico University College, Dr. Asburn Pinnock tells us more on Sunrise.
