The Universal Service Fund (USF) is seeking to enrol three hundred (300) students in the third regiment of its Technology Advancement Programme (TAP). This batch of participants will be trained in coding and programming in partnership with the Amber Academy.
The programme is set to last for twelve months and consists of two phases one of which is theoretical while the other will be project based. It is open to individuals between the ages of 18-29 with an information technology background at the CSEC, Diploma, or Bachelor’s level. Participants upon completion will receive an internationally recognized NVQJ certificate and be placed in jobs.
The Technology Advancement Programme III will be executed in twelve parishes and the Univeral Service Fund is seeking to enroll twenty-five (25) participants at each location. The participating parishes are Kingston and St. Andrew, St. Catherine, Hanover, St. James, Westmoreland, Trelawny, St. Ann, St. Mary, Portland, Clarendon, St. Elizabeth and St. Thomas.
