The 10th of May is observed as World Lupus Day worldwide. This year’s theme is ‘Make Lupus Visible, Intended To Increase Public Awareness About Lupus and its Psychological, Social and Economic Consequences.’ The Lupus Foundation of Jamaica is on a mission to raise awareness about the disease, advocate for better treatment options, and help those affected by it. Consultant Rheumatologist and President of the Lupus Foundation of Jamaica, Dr Desiree Tulloch-Reid shares more about what is in store for World Lupus Day locally.
