Ban on Songs Promoting Illegal Activities

On the heels of the Broadcast Commission of Jamaica’s decision to ban songs promoting illegal activities, from being played on television and on the radio; several concerns were raised. In this Youth Forum, we seek to understand the reasons behind the ban, future impacts on airplay, and other areas of concern.
