Youth Initiatives To Reduce Poverty

Ready Set Great, is an organization consisting of young people who are doing great things to develop their country. Their quest is in partnership with the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) to unearth stories, perspectives and lessons in sustainable development. Ready Set Great’s latest initiative is to reduce poverty in Jamaica. UNDP Programmes Analyst, Jamaro Marville, Executive Director Youths for Excellence, Jenine Shepherd, Founder of Youths Inspiring Positive Change Jamaica, Neville Charlton, Young Women/Men of Purpose, Lanisia Rhoden and President of the Jamaica Union of Tertiary Students (JUTS) Christina Williams joined us on Sunrise to share more.
