The Grammy-nominated rapper DMX, born Earl Simmons, died today, at the age of 50. The artiste had been hospitalized since last week after suffering a heart attack at home. DMX rose to fame in the ’90s, with his 1998 debut album It’s Dark and Hell is Hot, selling more than 5 million copies.
