Jamaican artiste T’Jean Bennett is currently in hospital awaiting blood donations. The musician has Aplastic Anemia, an auto-immune disease in which the body fails to produce enough blood cells.
A blood drive has been launched to encourage donations. T’Jean is ‘A-positive’, but the family hopes to encourage all blood donations to help others who may not be as high profile.
