This is what is left of the dwelling that was occupied by 91-year-old Ida White who perished after the structure was engulfed in flames. According to Acting Superintendent Everette Montaque attached to the St. James Fire Brigade, the fire happened around five minutes to nine Friday morning.
He notes her charred remains were later discovered in the west section of the structure. According to the Superintendent, there was a risk of eight million and a loss of an estimated two million. In the meantime, Collette the granddaughter of Ms. White expressed her disbelief to our news team. An investigation has been launched as to what caused the inferno.
