Authorities Seize Firearms in Targeted Operation in St. James Parish

A targeted operation took place on Tuesday, March 5, between 5:30 am to 8:30 am at Central Ave, Flanker, in the parish of St. James.

Authorities searched a two-bedroom structure occupied by Janeil Johnson, 20, a cocktail waitress at Red Dirt, Flankers, St. James, who is the sister of Peter Johnson also known as Jolo. Despite the search yielding no illicit items, two abandoned dwelling houses nearby were also searched.

During the operation, authorities seized one black and slightly rusted AKMS Rifle with a magazine bearing serial number KMS10923, one camouflage 9mm Sub Machine gun with a magazine, and one suppressor (silencer).
