British High Commissioner to Jamaica Addresses Racist Symbol Row

The symbolism of oppression as well as whether Jamaica should still be ruled by a monarchy promoting racist symbols were assessed on CVM LIVE’S Panel Discussion on Monday, with UK’S High Commissioner to Jamaica Asif Ahmad. 

This follows the Governor General’s decision to suspend the use of the order of St.Michael Badge, insignia which depicts a white angel standing on the neck of a black man.
