Students and staff at Christiana High School in Manchester are grieving the sudden passing of 18-year-old footballer Adrianno Jeffrey, who collapsed while playing football on Tuesday.
Jeffrey, a member of the school&rsquo;s 2023 DaCosta Cup team, reportedly felt unwell during the game and alerted his coach. His asthma pump was retrieved, and the school nurse was contacted. Despite efforts to assist him, he was rushed to Percy Junor Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
His coach, Declan Nelson, and the team&rsquo;s chef, Collin Milledo, have expressed deep sorrow over the tragic loss.
Authorities are expected to conduct further investigations into the circumstances surrounding Jeffrey&rsquo;s passing.
