In this Panel Discussion, we shed light on the intersecting forces of racial disparity, underlying health conditions, and class that affect how the COVID-19 virus spreads throughout Jamaica and the world. What might account for the racial disparities that we’re seeing in the United States? Are health inequalities tied to social and economic inequity?
To examine the subject we are joined by two esteemed Panelists Professor Anthony Bogues, Professor of Humanities and Critical Theory at Brown University, and Dr. Kenneth Connell Lecturer in Clinical Pharmacology and chairman of the Barbados National Drug Formulary Committee.
