Exploring The Government’s Response To COVID-19 In Jamaica

Schools have been shut for 14 days, all community-based programmes have also been halted for two weeks and members of the public are being advised against gathering in large numbers amidst the postponement of a number of popular events including champs-all in response to the threat of COVID-19, but what is the assessment of the government’s response so far and how can we assess the social impact?

To explore these issues and more we are joined by Dr. Alred Dawes, General Practitioner. Rev. Devon Dick, member MOHW COVID-19 task force and pastor at the boulevard Baptist church. And Lloyd Daguilar, Human Rights Advocate and Social Commentator.
