We examine political tribalism and its impact on our democracy. How have our institutions managed to stay out of the fray of the partisan divide or have they? Is politics necessarily tribal and divisive? How has the Jamaican state fared amidst the tendencies towards violence, sabotage, and tribalism within our politics? What lessons have we learnt and how do we build trust and faith in our institutions and in our political institutions and processes.
We examine these complex issues in our Panel Discussion.
Joining us is the Head of the Department of Government at the University of the West Indies Professor Lloyd Waller, Social Entrepreneur, Chairman of the Inner City Renewal Reverend Dr. Henley Morgan and Youth Advocate Montell Hill.
