Former Vauxhall Employee Calls For More Intervention

It has been a distressing time for the former Vauxhall High school employee who has worked in administration at the institution for a year – and had previous issues with his P45 form being uploaded.

The form was eventually uploaded but the incorrect termination date of April 30, 2020, reportedly placed on the form when he was dismissed on April 8. The former employee says he was only aware when he got this message stating that records show he was not reported on any payroll with the employment end date – and he should contact his employer

“My thing is you state in the termination letter, you terminate me on April 8 and the P45 says April 30 and this raise question because since I’ve been terminated I have been asking them to give me a detailed print out of my final payment,” says the former employee.

He reached out to the administration hoping the matter would be addressed.

“I sent several emails to the bursar and several emails to the principal and even tried the Chairman. I have even tried the Chief Education Officer,” he says. ” I thought somehow from the Ministry would have reached out to me. I called industrial relations and the young lady hung up in my ears.”

He is worried that he will not meet the set cash grant deadline due to the difficulties he is having..

“I am up to my neck because I have a disabled mother and I am the breadwinner and I have to find pampers and food,” he adds.

CVM LIVE contacted the Ministry of Education, Youth, and Information about the issue. We were advised by a representative in the public relations and communications department that the information would be passed on to the relevant persons and addressed. CVM LIVE has also reached out to the Vauxhall High school and the Bursar for the school but it appears no one was available or at the institution.
