Officers attached to the Kingston Central Division arrested four men and seized two firearms, following an incident at the intersection of Law Street and George’s Lane in the parish on Friday, April 16.
Reports from the police are that a vehicle with a Government plate not assigned to it drove up and opened gunfire hitting several persons. Police officers who were on patrol in the area heard the explosions and went to investigate. Upon reaching the intersection citizens pointed out the vehicle with four men aboard making their escape, the lawmen then intercepted the motorcar. Two firearms were recovered from the incident to include one Smith and Wesson and one Glock pistol.
Four men were taken into custody. However, their identities are being withheld pending further investigations.
