Criminals strike again. This time killing three men and injuring a fourth while purchasing meals Friday evening on Lincoln Avenue, near Crossroads.
Dead are, 35-year-old Randolph Mcbean, 41-year-old Donville Charlton both of Lincoln Crescent, Kingston 5 and 38-year-old Barrington Phillips, a contractor of Berwick Road, Kingston 13.
Reports from the Major Investigations Division (MID), are that about 7:21 pm, Mcbean, Charlton, Phillips and another man were among a group of people purchasing meals when they were pounced upon by gunmen traveling in a Mazda motor car who opened fire hitting them all.
The men were taken to hospital where Mcbean, Charlton and Phillips were pronounced dead and the other man was admitted for treatment.
No sooner than the incident occurred, images and videos of the terrifying ordeal were circulated on social media leaving many others traumatized.
Incidents such as these have left some Jamaicans in fear demanding action from the government, while others attempt to protect themselves and their livelihoods however they can.
Only recently criminals opened fire on people at a wake in Frog City on Maxfield Avenue killing a police constable and injuring four others. A suspect in that incident was also shot and killed during a confrontation with the police this week.
