Guyanese Nationals Stranded in Jamaica Calls for More Communication from Consulate

Guyanese nationals in Jamaica say they’re worried about their status.

CVM LIVE spoke to two Guyanese nationals who have been trying to return home since the outbreak of the Coronavirus, COVID-19.  

A week-long trip has become five months for one while a semester has become a nightmare for another.

But there is also a greater issue of the political turmoil in Guyana that they fear is further delaying their hopes of returning home.
