Hyatt Hotels has announced that it will temporarily suspend operations in Jamaica and will not accept new reservations until January 31, 2026.
The announcement comes in the wake of Hurricane Melissa, which left death and destruction across parts of the island.
The suspension affects all Hyatt-affiliated properties in Jamaica.&nbsp;
While confirming the wellbeing of staff and guests, the company says its focus is now on supporting employees, guests, and surrounding communities as recovery efforts continue.
