All across the globe, there are girls being diagnosed with a condition that leaves them alert but unable to express themselves or communicate through speech or hand movement. Thankfully there are parents who take on the responsibility, but it’s obviously challenging for the adult, observing their children go through different stages while losing their intellectual capability.      

For this Inspire Jamaica, Kerlyn Brown picks up on the journey of an eleven-year-old in St Andrew, whose mother is yet to meet another child living with Rett Syndrome locally.
