Thanks to the vision of one man, the Mustard Seed Communities gives youngsters, who have been cast aside, an option to escape despair.
Brother Beckithememba Masekoa of the Mustard Seed Communities says the children are a blessing from God and we must take care of them as they are our future.
“We do not want to abandon a child twice”, those are the words from the Founder of the Mustard Seed Communities, The Very Reverend Monsignor Gregory Ramkissoon.
The youngsters, who fall outside of the countrys under-18 categorization for children, and who have been pulled from their despair, are now thriving.
Board Member of the Mustard Seed Community, Thalyia Lyn, says the children have been with the community for some time and they have been kept because they need to have dignity.
The real value of children without voices is that they cannot be heard and it is our duty to give them a voice.
