We congratulate our inspiree, Showayne Edwards Jr, as he moves to greater things after being in and out of the hospital due to serious health challenges. The journey to the Primary Exit Profile (PEP) exam was twice as challenging for this youngster after being born with Congenital Scoliosis and Dextrocardia.
Even after gaining an academic award in Social Studies, Showayne shows his humility from tackling the feat that was PEP, scoring the second highest overall score in the boys category at Harvest Hill Christian Preparatory School.
Guided by the Ministry of Education’s preparation for children with disabilities, his parents are now seeing how best Showayne can fit into his first choice school, Morant Bay High.
