It was political road rage in Trelawny on Monday after political boundaries were crossed.
When the member of parliament for northern Trelawny victor wright arrived in a section of his constituency the road was blocked, reportedly by JLP supporters.
The issue lies in a 22 million dollar contract to fix roads in northern Trelawny, but as wright explains he initiated conversations to have the roads fixed.
He was however not invited to the meeting with the National Works Agency when the contract was being signed, the member of parliament for south Trelawny Marisa Dalrymple-Philibert was instead invited.
The area where the road is being fixed will be added to south Trelawny in the next general election.
And so wright is accusing Dalrymple-Philibert of cross representing.
The South Trelawny MP adds that she used constituency development funds to contribute to the road work.
As the general election draws closer both members of parliament say they are ready.
