KSAMC Responds To ‘Pearnel Charles Arcade’ Vendors About Restricted Access To The Facility
The Kingston & St. Andrew Municipal Corporation (KSAMC) has sought to provide answers for the restricted access to the Pearnel Charles Arcade in Downtown following a shooting incident inside the facility.
But the vendors are complaining about the effectiveness of the temporary closure to address the persistent crime problem as well as its stifling impact on business. The KSAMC says it is assessing the security protocols in and around the arcade and will only reopen the gates when they’re satisfied the space is safe.
