A 17-year-old boy is facing charges for the stabbing murder of 20-year-old Akeilia White and injuring another student at a school in Williamsfield, Manchester. The incident occurred during an argument in a classroom, where the accused allegedly returned with a knife, injuring White and the male student. White was pronounced dead at the hospital while the injured student received treatment. The accused was arrested shortly after the incident and charged the same day. He has been remanded until June 4th.

A seventeen-year-old boy is now facing charges following the stabbing murder of
20-year-old Akeilia White, a student of Hanbury Road, Mandeville, Manchester and the injury of
another student at a school in Williamsfield, Manchester.
The teen has been slapped with Murder and Wounding with Intent charges.
Reports from the Mandeville Police are that about 11:50 a.m., while in a classroom at the school,
an argument developed between the now-deceased and another student. The 17-year-old boy
reportedly left the area and later returned with a knife, which he allegedly used to inflict wounds
to White’s upper body and the shoulder and the male student’s back. White and the injured boy
were taken to the hospital where she was pronounced dead; the other student received treatment.
The accused, who was held shortly after the incident and handed over to the police, was charged
later the same day.
He was taken to the Mandeville Parish Court and was remanded until Tuesday, June 04.
