The police have made a breakthrough in the murder of 65 year old Hotel Manager Clyde Taylor who was found butchered in his vehicle in Top Hill St. Ann last Wednesday. The police say they’ve found the murder weapon and the primary spot where the killing took place. Two men have since been charged with Taylor’s murder. Taylor was found in the trunk of his car with multiple stab wounds in Top Hill, Runaway Bay, St. Ann. However, Deputy Superintendent in charge of crime for the parish, Linton Bailey says the killing took place at another location, and Taylor’s body subsequently dumped in the bushes of Top Hill. DSP bailey says there’s been a reduction of crime in the parish since January in comparison to last year.
Meanwhile, Senior Superintendent Dwight Powell is commending DSP bailey and the St. Ann police for apprehending the 2 suspects. He says it’s becoming increasingly difficult for criminals to comfortably exist in any parish as the police are not letting up in their quest to find them.
